About
I grew up right here in Billings. I attended Newman Elementary, Riverside Junior High and West High School. My family and I attended Faith E Church where I became a Christian and developed many close relationships there. I graduated from West High school in 1986 before attending the University of Wyoming on a football scholarship. I was named Defensive player of the year for the Western Athletic Conferenced in 1989 and 1990 as well as being named to the first team All- decade team for the 80’s. In my Senior year I tallied 22 Quarterback sacks leading the nation. As a result of my success at The University of Wyoming, I was drafted to the San Francisco 49ers in the 1991 NFL draft. I played there for 2 years and part of a third and then went to the Denver Boncos in 1993 and played there for another 2 years. I ended my football career in Atlanta in 1995.
More importantly, I married Melissa Wolf the summer before my senior year August of 1990 and we are married still. Melissa is the love of my life and I am very lucky to call her my wife. She has been a Nurse in the ICU Since 2005. In 2021, Melissa was honored by the Billings Gazette in their Salute to nurses for her efforts and dedication. Together we have 2 “children” Dylan Donahue and Devon Enos. Devon is married to her husband Christian Enos. Dylan has started his own business called premiere surface solutions and is currently a single man. As a family, we have had many ups and downs but Jesus always pulls us through and keeps us close to each other.
After the NFL, I tried a few different career paths. I was on staff with The fellowship of Christian Athletes from 1995-1996. That was when I did my first roof for a friend of mine who was building a house to make some extra money. Then I sold insurance for The Principal Financial Group from 1996-1997. I realized then that I missed being outside and I missed the team atmosphere that playing football provided. I decided to start my own roofing company in August of 1997 because doing roofs kept me outside and my crew became my new team. We have become proficient at roofing many different styles of roofs over the years and have gained much knowledge, yet we are always seeking to learn more and find better ways to serve our customers.
